Snapshot

The project at a glance.

Role: Motion Design Strategist and Advocate

Team: Alongside sales, customer success and marketing

Timeline: September 2025 to September 2026

The Problem

Where teams got stuck.

Teams had tokenized color, type and spacing, but motion still lived outside the design system. Some needed inspiration. Some needed convincing that motion makes a product clearer.

The Key Decision

Sell clarity, not decoration.

That was our team's motto: motion should carry the brand and the product message, and explain how things work. I built demos with each customer's own assets and put our best tools to work.

UPS used motion to explain return processes. Robinhood used it in its app to explain financial processes.

Customers Tell the Story

The Uber interview.

I set up and hosted an interview with Uber's designers about how they use Lottie. Our sales team used it in their conversations.

“He understood their workflows and frustrations because he had lived them. Pair that with his very high bar for customer success and you get someone customers trust right away and keep coming back to.”
